Within 1-2 seconds of visiting your Facebook Page, a potential buyer will make a subconscious decision on whether to stay or leave. If they don’t connect with your page, it could be because your profile and cover photos are poorly presented. This could see users ‘bounce’ away your page and toward your competitors.

Vehicle Posts

The most important post , your product! Make sure you post at least once daily showing your audience how incredible your stock is.

Include great photographs or video and a succinct decsription with a link back to your website. In addition, make sure not to include too many photographs – you need to give prospective buyers a reason to click through to your website!

Try using a few emojis in your vehicle description but not too many. You don’t want to distract from the information your trying to convey to a potential buyer.

Vehicle Summary Posts

Why not vary up your content by using a vehicle summary post? Simply compile a list of your stock together with an image for each and post it to your Facebook Page. As well as providing an alternative post type it will also show potential buyers all of the stock you have without them having to leave Facebook.

Sold & Handover Posts

Injecting happiness and success into your posts has a great phycological impact on your audience. Seeing others pruchase their new car with a big smile not only encourages visits to your Facebook Page and website, but also builds trust bewteen your dealership and potential buyers.

Additonal Service Posts

Lastly, don’t forget to remind your customers and potential customers of the other services you offer as a business. For example, servicing, MOT work, tyres, valeting, part-exchange etc.

Take finance for example. This is a great way to engage potential customers with your posts. From a buyers point-of-view a £25,000 vehicle may seem of out budget. But with an existing vehicle as part-exchnage toward their desposit and finance package, this could quickly build an affordable picture.
