Great Car Dealer Websites That Work

Great car dealer websites should be a focal point of your marketing and advertising efforts. Above all, it is the digital representation of your business and shouldn’t be overlooked!

Unfortunately for the automotive industry, it is awash with mass-produced cheap, ineffective websites.

In this article, we’ll look at what you should avoid and how you can transform your digital web presence with the best websites for used car dealers.

Firstly, let’s take a step back and look at what a dealer website is actually for. Although this sounds fairly obvious, many car dealers lose track of a website’s fundamental purpose. In some cases, they see it as a functional necessity rather than a hub for their marketing and advertising.

Read through our quick guide on how to choose the best dealer website that works for you.

At a time of digital change for the automotive industry, used car dealerships have found themselves integrating with more and more third-party platforms. In other words, this means a surge in the average number of automotive stock feeds required by a dealership.  In short, the day of multiple manual uploads is now behind us!

We boast the most powerful stock publishing platforms in the UK. Our software integrates with the major platforms to save you both time and money. This combined with the easiest-to-use uploader and a quick setup, you can start reducing your uploads immediately.

Facebook Vehicles Tab for Used Car Dealerships

Massively underutilised, the Facebook Vehicles Tab is a fantastic way of maximising the exposure of your vehicles to potential used car buyers.

The ‘Vehicles Tab’ is located on your Facebook Page. It allows the advertisement of all your vehicles to your audience. From here, potential buyers can browse your entire stock.

If you’re familiar with how Facebook works, you’ll know how a post will quickly disappear down your audience’s timeline (for which we have a separate solution). However, the vehicles tab allows you to always show a page of your entire stock that can be kept up-to-date automatically using AutoVici.

Let’s have a deeper look at how this works!

Facebook to Stand Down Marketplace Partner Programme

In order to encourage dealerships to utilise their Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts and sponsored ads, Facebook has announced that automatic listings via partners will cease as of 13th September 2021.

In a global-wide decision affecting all automotive listing partners, no further uploads will be automated through authorised 3rd parties.

Dealerships can still upload via their personal profiles as before or, as their business page (in certain regions only excluding the UK).
